This is my first post about breast pump in my new blog – best breast pump.
Base on definition from wikipedia, the breast pump is a mechanical device that extracts milk from the female breast who is lactating.

Manual Breast Pump
Manual breast pumps are operated by squeezing a handle in a repetitive times using our own hand. The good things about manual breast pump is it’s allow us to directly control the pressure and frequency of pumps. But you can get tire easily when just squeezing a few times. Plus, if using “bicycle horn” style manual breast pumps can damage breast tissue and harbor bacteria in the rubber suction bulb.
Electrical Breast Pump
Electric breast pumps are powered by a small electric motor which supplies suction through plastic tubing to a horn that fits over the nipple. The pump that expressed milk must be sterilized to prevent contamination. This electric breast pump style provides a lot more suction, making pumping significantly faster, and allows pumping of both breasts at the same time.
Expert are agree that electric breast pumps are ideal for when a mother will be pumping daily compare to manual pump. Anyway, electric breast pumps are larger than manual ones. There are portable electric breast pump models available that allow the mother to carry the pump much more easily.
Food-Powered Breast Pump
Foot-powered breast pumps combine manual and electric breast pumps ground together. How? Food-Powered Breast Pump use the same collection tubing and breast horns as electric breast pumps use, but are powered by a foot pedal rather then hand.
